Can i get coverage in more than one country?
All of the plans we recommend are designed to cover you internationally. Some insurers will offer cheaper rates for Asia-Pacific cover, but most individuals and families will select Worldwide Cover excluding the USA. Our American clients and others who often travel to the United States, normally accept Worldwide Cover including the USA. In terms of the scope of your plan, your Expat Insurance adviser can recommend the best suited plan for your own unique circumstances.
What happens to my policy if I leave Hong Kong?

All of the plans we chat to you about are globally portable. This means that you and your family may take your medical insurance plans with you to your next destination.

What’s more, if you move away from Hong Kong or China then your premiums will very likely drop.

This is because the cost of medical care in China is expensive compared to other parts of the world.

How do I make sure I am covered for ...?

All of the insurers we work with automatically offer Hospital and Surgery coverage on their plans.

You may also want to add Out-Patient benefits, which allows you full coverage for visits to your doctor or specialist. It also covers medicines, drugs and tests such as MRI, PET and CAT scans.

Maternity benefits are also an attractive option for young couples. Insurers will offer a Maternity Budget which covers pre-natal care, the delivery of your child, and post-natal care too. Expat Insurance will work with you to ensure you get the best possible cover to meet your maternity requirements.

Another popular option is to add Dental Benefits to your medical insurance plan. This allows you to obtain Routine Dental benefits such as check-up, cleaning and polishing, fillings and x-rays.
